I am thinking of making an appointment with Dr Peatfield and am wondering for those that have seen him recently how long between calling and meeting? I am assuming he’s still South East England based and I’m aware he hasn’t been very well. I’m trying to gauge timings before I try and make contact as I think an August appointment or Autumnal appointment next year. Thanks in advance.

I have left a message and don’t want to bombard the answerphone in case others need to call. I’m waiting a reply but thought I’d see others time frame before I try again in a fortnight or so. Thank you for replying. Ebony 💜
I was searching a few posts and one came up from 3 years ago. The OP was thanking our fabulous admins and it turned into a who’s the best star sign! I think Mars is Pisces..... 30/12 🙌🏾🙌🏾💜
You speak for yourselves... Everybody knows that Sagittarians are the jolliest of signs! Our ruling planet is Jupiter, the Bringerof Jollity! That makes us the best! 😄👍💪
Dr. Peatfield is now well over 80 years old, he is suffering from cancer I believe, he is not able to prescribe anything; ie he can only sell you natural stuff; he is still very busy though and it sounds as though he can't really cope with all the patients who want to see him and they are desperate. Dr P diagnosed me on first sight as unable to convert T4 into T3, and was surprised I could still stand upright considering the state of my adrenals, ie they had almost konked out altogether. He prescribed me 20mcg of T3 a day, but despite returning to Crawley at a lot of expense plus his high fee, (I was unable to work), he failed to ever increase my dose of T3. He is an amazing man, extremely knowledgeable, has read a voracious amount of old medical papers, but I found that he was, even in1995, too busy to think about my own personal case adequately.
I got a call back today and was informed his Crawley clinic was closed today for the Christmas period and re opens 9th January. I managed to book an appointment for late January instead. So I’ll take that and hopefully make another for late summer. I’m curious if he could prescribe what the price would be? Were his prescription named patient or private before as I have a great T3 supplier and feel great so praying I never need to transition to NDT with the current import fees etc. I think his fee is quite reasonable and well worth it just to be able to have met him. But then, I live in central London so anything under £400 is a bargain! A shame in a way he’s not trained an underlying to take some of his load to enable partial retirement if that’s what he wants. Thanks for your response, another highly recommended Dr to mark off of my list.
