He has a clinic in Belgium - but I do believe you will be seen by one of his team. Appointments are way way ahead. Thierry seems to spend time in the States. I have read his book - The Hormone Solution. It's a good read.

I tried to make an appointment for my grandson - and the forms for completion that were sent and the required tests - indicated a high level of efficiency. Hope you receive some PM's....

Thank you Marz. I have received Hertoghes questionnaire and prices, which are terrifying. Just wondering about patients' experiences......who has made the trekk to Belgium and was it worth it?

Quite understand your need for some experiences. Wish I could help - but I balked at the costs ! I know what price health ? Have you read the book - it may just answer a few of your questions :-) I think I have learnt more from this forum than from anywhere - as long as you read the links/books/websites that are suggested - and of course that is a hard slog :-)

Do wish you well....

Thank you, Marz. I've done 3 years' reading but haven't done The Hormone Solution yet. More homework!

Well, here we go!

Best wishes,

Many thanks again. I know I have low cortisol, actually, but because of my long steroid use, it doesn't show up as low enough on the NHS tests.

I will not make the pilgrimage to Hertoghe just yet....

Thank you, Zorrogirl.

Treatment for, and investigation of, endocrine disorders in the UK is inadequate. That is probably why this forum exists. No need for a forum if all thyroid patients were happy with their treatment!

Best wishes,
