Hi sorry couldn’t see how to add another photo to my original post so I have done a new post with both sets of results in. My son is 13 years 8 months, tired, dizzy, pale, lethargic, moody ( to be expected I know with his age but unusually so ). So here goes again with the full results. Thank you in advanced.

So his FBC doesn't show signs of iron deficiency anaemia. It would be interesting to see an iron panel and see if his serum iron is low as well as his ferritin.
I can't see a folate result there. It really should be done alongside B12. But check the signs/symptoms of B12 I linked to in the other post anyway as he could very well have B12 deficiency.
Blue Horizon will do private testing on young people I think, SlowDragon may be able to confirm that.
Great thank you I will look into blue horizon. He had bloods for all to be done at the same time but unfortunately the hospital “forgot” to test the 5 that we got results for today so he went back a week later to have those checked separately.
Yes Blue Horizon will allow testing of a minor
Suggest you don't do DIY finger prick test but pay the extra for private blood draw ( £35)
You could try seeing GP again and request folate and B12 are tested together, plus full testing for Pernicious Anaemia
His B12 is only just above bottom of range

Presumably you have Hashimoto's?
If so GP should test your son for high TPO and TG thyroid antibodies
vitamin D - you can get tested here for £29
Easy to do
Thanks so much. I was with a different gp surgery to my husband and sons because of my thyroid issues but never bothered to move them as they are touch wood rarely ill. But after leaving the gp surgery this evening for the blood results I have joined him with my gp who is fully aware and understanding of my issues, so will give it a few weeks and get him an appointment. I will start him on iron tablets, with vit c. I’ll leave the b12 until he has been tested again and see how the results are then. Thank you again c
Have you heard of The Root Cause Protocol? If not, therootcauseprotocol.com , it will really help with interpreting iron levels. It has brought me back from the dead.
