Hi I live in France and had my thyroid removed on the 5/3/19 due to non cancerous multinodules on both sides causing swallowing and breathing difficulties . Other symptoms were sweating , chills , palpitations constipation ,loose bowel movement and memory loss , to name most . My tests before the op were :

FT3 3.84. ( 2.63-5.70)

FT4 11.9. (9-19)

TSH 0.85. (0.35 -4.94)

ATG 17. (< - 4 )

ATPO < 1 ( <- 6)

My new blood test shows

Calcium 94. ( 88-106)

Albumin 33.8. (35-52 )

Calcium Corrige 95 ( 88-106)

TSH 0.09 ( 0.35 - 4.94)

I am on levothyroxine and due to see the endocrinologist on Aril 4 th and due for another blood test in 3 weeks .

Any thoughts on my symptoms or results as I am assuming that what I have is Hashimoto's disease as I have not been told .

Can you add the ranges for these results please? Ranges differ from lab to lab so it's almost impossible to comment without the ranges as otherwise we should just be guessing. They are usually in brackets after your results.

I have updated my results and variants hopefully you can shed some light for me many thanks

Only TG antibodies which might be Hashis in first test, but not TPO. No thyroid hormone results in second test, only TSH. No thyroid should mean no more Hashis. Are you on thyroxine? I would want that low albumin investigated, plus kidneys, liver and gut.

Thankyou for the info it's very difficult over here unless you are absolutely fluent in the language and even then medical terminology can be a minefield so any information and support is most welcome 🙏👍🏻

I had my TT done in France in 2015 prior to the operation I felt fine and wasn't on any medication. A lump on my thyroid had moved my trachea and caused breathing problems. Oddly my thyroid was working fine before the op and I had no other symptoms. I was then put on Levo and over a few months became very ill with pains in my legs and general tiredness. I then joined this group and now self medicate with NDT. Your FT3 is too low and should be increased. You can easily buy T3 in France it's called Cynomel and it's made in France by Sanofi. It's only about 3 euros for 30 tablets and could help you a lot.
