Hi everyone. My doctor recently had me tested as I have had issues loosing weight even on a low calorie diet. There is a history of thyroid with my mother, niece and sister. My recent tests for Thyroglobulin Antibody 3.7 IU/mL 0.0 - 0.9 IU/mL which was flagged HIGH
My other test results are as follows:
T3 FREE 2.8 pg/mL
TSH 2.06 mcU/mL
T4 FREE 1.4 ng/dL
Anti Thyroid Peroxidase 15 IU/mL

Please add in the ranges in brackets after each result.
If you have low FreeT4, Low FreeT3 and low TSH this would indicate Hypothyroidism caused by a Pituitary Gland problem. And you would need to ask about having all the Pituitary Gland hormones tested.
But the detection of TgAb could be Hashimoto's Autoimmune Thyroiditis.
You really need to give the ranges though - weren't any of the other results commented on? Have you spoken to your doctor yet ?
What were your relatives diagnosed with? Are they all well on their treatment?
Have you had any nutrients levels tested especially :
Thanks for your reply. My sister has had thyroid (hyper and hypo) most of her life, not sure what my mother's diagnosis was as she went many years untreated, my niece has Hashimoto's and my other sister said she was borderline for thyroid issues but never went back to have it checked. I messaged my doctor to find out about next steps.
My test results - I don't have any other symptoms that I know of except stubborn weight loss.
