Please can you let me know if you have had metavive successes on your journeys?
My journey is I've felt a lot better although 'not right' as still had anxious feeling anxious (for nothing) whilst taking vits supporting adrenals etc and on Levo, and so took the ext step that Dr P advised to take metavive instead, as it's natural and he felt was the right thing for me, but Im on the fence myself about it as appreciate it's not as measured
Basically my t4 has always been ok with or without meds, but t3 always down there so basically a bad converter and tsh over 4
Nice to know from other metavive-taker thoughts please? Have you kept well on it and found it reliable enough, admidst the controversy? Do your bloods show t3 increase and tsh around 1 out of interest?
Blessings❄️☃️

Hey Cup-cake7 ive been thyroxine free for over 4 months and feel almost back to normal! I’m also a poor converter and tested positive for the DIO2 gene mutation, and was basically being poisoned by Levo mono-therapy. Im still a tiny bit sluggish so post my bloods next week ( which are much better than they were just on levo,) I’m going to add 25mg Levo to the 2 metavive II grains I take daily. Then test again in 6 weeks to see how I fare scientifically. The bottom line is that it’s all about how you are FEELING and what your symptoms are- and amend your dose slowly over time higher or lower as you need to. Checking bloods will help with monitoring. I’m also gluten free and have a daily dose of zinc, vitamins c, a & d plus take my temperature every morning which gives a great indicator of your metabolism. Everyone is different so you need to be in tune with your body and what it needs, and support it accordingly when you get your blood results. This group is fantastic for rock solid advice, but you alone will be the one your body speaks to- so nurture it accordingly. I promise things do get better. This time last year I could hardly get out of bed. I wasn’t able to work and came very close to just giving up. My life was bleak and Metavive has given my old sparkle back. I wish you the best. Don’t be afraid to try because in the absence of GPs giving t3 to those of us who need it, I have definitely found Metavive to be a suitable life saver. Literally! 🤗😘 good luck 🤞🏽
Thanks for that!!! Really Pleased for you!! Agree with all you saying. Yes me too, I was crawling upstairs and couldn't think straight, scary stuff and I became phobic!! so really hard to take tablets as I got a thing about them too! Thank g that has now past,
i do feel I've got a bit hooked on tsh and t3 numbers for sure, difficult one. As trust here inplicintly - but do want the natural route also
Please can I ask why you are adding in levo, is your t4 very low? I thought it's all about the t3? Or do you feel it helps you do some natural converting ?
Here's a question? Do we naturally convert when taking supplements ? I should know, this!
Hi again- as I mentioned earlier, everyone is different and you need to be in tune with your body to understand what it needs. I personally think adding some thyroxine will help me to increase conversion, my bloods are ok but there is room for improvement however I’m also feeling a little sluggish so that is the main reason. Then I’ll test again in 6 weeks. That’s just my own time limit... keep tweaking until you find the right balance for you. I think your body will lead the way and your bloods will support that you are on the right dose. 🙏🏾💜
Yes , 🙃 To me it's a work in progress but yes, have found out how it so needs these vits and minerals, supporting my adrenals have been the biggy to allow wellness to come back after supporting them for months - gone from crawling up the stairs to doing the Memory Walk. This huge to me even though my confidence really slowed me down!! and I nearly shot off at the first opportunity LoL
