Cold blue fingers?
I'd guess it it could be Reynaud's Syndrome, which can be secondary or primary; auto-immune or non-autoimmune. I've had it for 50 yrs now, in my case, primary non-autoimmune; but it can be secondary to lupus and scleroderma for instance.
Thanks my friend at work has raynauds hers turns white and only 2fingers . mine is all fingers blue in middle section and cold to touch do you have it like that? Thanks
Yes it can vary with the situation, and with your own circumstance. So, If I clear snow off the windscreen for instance, that might have a different reaction/pattern, and/or level of pain or discomfort, than if I'm lying poolside in the high Egyptian heat and the sun passes behind a cloud. I might have one finger or part of one finger, or all fingers of one hand affected. It eased for me, during pregnancy, and each time it then returned, seemed to be a little less severe. I used to fall over, such was the loss of sensation in my feet, when I was younger; and can have it at the end of my nose, but I've never had it in my tongue thankfully.
I’m not a doctor, but I agree that it could be Reynaud’s. I also have Reynaud’s Syndrome, and it sounds very similar to my symptoms.
I was given a blood pressure medication to help control it.
Mine got so bad I had frost bite on my toe.
Since medication, I have been symptom free.
I also am careful not to expose my hands and feet to extreme cold temperatures.
