Has anyone had any experience of blue lips, toes and fingers? I have a friend who is experiencing this at the moment and wondered if it could be associated with hypothyroidism.

Blue lips, fingers and toes

It could be Reynaud’s syndrome (although I’ve not heard this affecting the lips, just hands/ feet). I’ve found turmeric supplements (with ginger/ black pepper) helpful for improving circulation. On the Reynauds forum on HU, Ginko Bilbao is also suggested, although I’ve not tried this.
I would definitely get your friend checked out with a medic asap, due to her symptom of blue lips, to rule out anything urgent.

Sounds like Raynaud's
'blue lips' would make me think it should be assessed by a medic.
You would hope she has already seen one and is in the fobbed off stage 😕
She’s visiting from Canada and appears to have a good endo but this had just kind of reared its head
How about a chat with NHS 111
I don't know if pharmacists can check blood oxygen levels? Apple watches or Fitbits etc can give you a reading

A pulse oximeter would do that. I bought myself one in the early stages of the pandemic. Oddly enough they used to be fairly cheap - about £20. Then they went to nearly £50 during the pandemic. And now they are under £20.
Funny that, isn't it? 🙄
Isn't it just! My Oura ring does oxygen saturation thinks it's standard with the wearables?
Thanks but we’re in France atm
So she is covered by travel insurance, I would ask one of the locals where to go to get checked out, could it be the altitude?
If travel insurance are paying I'd get the works done 😁
Also many prescribed medications (eg beta blockers) can have this effect.
