Thyroid test results

These are 3 lots of test results from 11th September to 4th January. Do any of them make sense?

11th September: 9:30am approx.

Not fasting. Had not had liothyronine (20mcg) for approx 1 month

TSH 0.19

FT3 <2.0

FT4 12.6

Ferritin 124

1st October: 15:09

Test ordered by Dr Karim Meeran (the medico who signed the NHS edict on liothyronine).

Not fasting. Had taken T4, and had started taking Thybon 20.

TSH 0.83

FT3 3.1

FT4 15.4

D3 131.2

Ferritin - not tested

4th January: 8:10am

Fasting. T4 (100mcg) - 24 hours before, T3 (Thybon 20mcg) - 12 hours before

TSH 0.02

FT3 4.6

FT4 12.1

Ferritin 118

D3 not yet available

I see my GP in a few days. He did not know what the September results meant - he said he had not seen such a low TSH.

Your advice will be very much appreciated.

Can you add the lab ranges? These tests cannot be interpreted accurately without them. Lab ranges can vary.

I probably should add that I had 6 weeks of radiotherapy for larnygeal cancer in 2012.

The lab ranges for the 1st and last group of tests are:

TSH 0.3 - 4.2

T3 2.5 - 5.7

T4 9.0 - 23.0

D2 70 -150

D3 70 -150

D2+D3 70 -150

Ferritin 20 - 300

I do not have the ranges for the middle group but believe they are the same.

How do you feel on 100mcg Levo plus 20mcg Liothyronine ?

You possibly need slight dose increase. FT4 is right at bottom of range and FT3 only mid range

Also need B12 and folate tested - or are you supplementing B complex anyway?

Thanks. I feel fairly listless in the morning and get tired in the afternoon + low mood quite often.

I take Viridian B complex B12.
