This may sound odd but is there anyone else out there that prefers to “microdose” NDT throughout the day? Right now I take .5 grains upon waking then .25 grains taken six other times throughout day every couple hours usually after eating something. A total of 2 grains, then I take .75 Levo at bedtime. I know it sounds excessive and depressive but with a pill case it doesn’t bother me lol. I feel pretty optimal on this. TSH is nonexistant but FT3 is near top of range but not over.
When I take a larger dose I get sort of a stress response.

You may have found your 'optimum' dose and that's why an increase may affect you. The following is from a scientist/researcher and go to the date January 30, 2002 to read the statement:-
The magic words are ... "I feel pretty optimal at this dose". At the end of the day, it is how you feel that counts. No one knows your body like you do. Might be time to test? You may have to go private in order to test Free T 3, Free T 4. The T 4 should be about mid-range and the T 3 should be at the upper end of range. On NDT, TSH should be supressed... 1. or less.
I also split my NDT into different doses during the day/evening. I split 2.5 grains... 1 grain in the am and 3/4 grain after lunch (early afternoon) and final about 6 - 7 pm in the evening. Remember, years ago, before the invention of the cursed TSH test, doctors dosed/increased by the elimination of symptoms, blood pressure, heart rate and body temp with how one felt, body temp and heart rate being the most telling and indicative.
