Any Insight on my Blue Horizon Test Results Please?

Hello!

I was hoping for some help with an interpretation of my test results from Blue Horizon, I have been highly symptomatic (heart palpitations, tingling hands when going to sleep, freezing cold fingers and toes, fatigue, itchy skin etc) for some time however my test results seem to have come back 'normal.' I know from previous experience with a B12 issue that the ranges are often set far too low and one can be suffering even if you are in the so-called range. So I am looking for your expert opinion as I really am in the dark about understanding any of this (in case it is of any help with interpretation I am 26). Thank You!

hs-CRP 0.22 <5.0 mg/L

Ferritin 86.6 13 - 150 ug/L

TSH 1.47 0.27 - 4.20 mIU/L

T4 Total 88.9 66 - 181 nmol/L

Free T4 15.80 12.0 - 22.0 pmol/L

Free T3 5.80 3.1 - 6.8 pmol/L

Anti-Thyroidperoxidase abs 11.5 <34 kIU/L

Anti-Thyroglobulin Abs 12 <115 kU/L

My Serum Folate result was unavailable due to the sample being haemolysed - I am now of course very concerned that I cannot have any confidence in the following results and wondering why if this was the case a re-test wasn't ordered. Any advice on whether or not haemolysis would affect the other results/should I be having a re-test?

Thanks so much

Just read your previous posts. Are you supplementing B12 or folate or a vitamin B complex?

You really need vitamin D tested (Blue Horizon plus 11 next time)

You can test just vitamin D here

vitamindtest.org.uk

Your Thyroid results look ok. Low antibodies. Good TSH and FT3.

Nothing obviously shouting Thyroid issue

See you suffer bloating etc

Have you tried gluten free diet ?

Thank you so much for responding, yes supplementing with B12 and have been for the last 5/6 months - which has helped immensely with many many symptoms - particularly gastric, burning tongue etc. (I also supplement with Vit D). However, it's the heart palpitations, tingling hands when going to sleep, freezing cold fingers and toes, headaches, fatigue, itchy skin etc that remain...

Are you also taking a good quality daily vitamin B complex? One with folate in not folic acid may be beneficial. B vitamins best taken in the morning after breakfast

If you are taking vitamin B complex, or any supplements containing biotin, remember to stop these 3-5 days before any blood tests, as biotin can falsely affect test results

Strictly gluten free diet always worth trying for 2-3 months see if it helps

You might consider testing for MHFR gene issues

Or look at Thyroid DNA testing
