Can anyone recommend a good multi vitamin supplement, so I don't have to take a million vitamins as I already take quite a few supplements like turmeric, evening primrose, omega 3's, so thought it would be much easier and cheaper if there is a good one that contains iron, b complex, folic acid etc..

Good vitamin supplement
If you took a multivitamin that contained iron AND vitamins, you wouldn't be able to absorb the vitamins. And, if it also contained calcium, you wouldn't be able to absorb the iron, either. All these things should not be taken at the same time.
There's no such thing as a good multivitamin. They all have some draw-back, like using the wrong type of ingredient, or containing things you don't want, like calcium and iodine. It's far, far better to get tested for vit D, vit B12, folate and ferritin, and just take what you need, in sufficient quantities.
Thanks for explaining. So you don't really need to take anything other than the ones you mentioned I get tested for?
Oh, I didn't say that. There are other things that need to be taken with them.
If you take Vit D3, you also need to take magnesium, zinc and vit K2-MK7.
If you take iron, it's best to take vit C with it.
If you take vit B12, you need to take a B complex. And, if your folate is low, you need a B complex with at least 400 mcg methylfolate.
And, if you have antibodies, you should take selenium.
Thankyou for explaining further, that's really helpful. I will see what my blood tests reveal.
I take vit d3 (prescription) along with vit k . (H&b)
Didn't realise about the magnesium of zinc 😱
Can you recommend anything in particular? I.e. How much to take and where from .
Also take vit b12ftom h&b but I see you've mentioned I need to take a bit b complex too - again how much and where from .
Thank you
It worries me that you buy your supplements in H&B. Are you sure they're the right ones? Is your vit K 'K2 - MK7'? And, is your vit B12 'sublingual methylcobalamin'?
How much vit D3 did your doctor prescribe? They usually prescribe too little.
I always get my supplements from Amazon, where there's a good choice and good prices, and the right thing. Solar or Jarrows sublingual methylcobalamin and B complex. And there are plenty of other good ones.
For magnesium, I usually buy magnesium citrate from Nu U Nutrition, 200 mg, and I take two tablets. But, magnesium can upset your bowel, so best to start low and work up.
There are several types of magnesium, though, depending on what you want it to do. Have a look at this, and choice the one best suited to your needs :

For zinc, I don't have a favourite brand, but 15 mg is enough.
Hi
The vit k is k2 only 50ug
Vit b12 is timed release 1000ug
Vit d3 prescribed by my endo is
20000 iug
2 a week
Well, depends on your vit d level, but that might not be enough. Post a new question, giving your blood test result, and ask.
I've never heard of timed release B12! How can that work? It wouldn't survive in the stomach. What you need is sublingual methylcobalamin. But, the odds are, you won't find that in H&B!
