Acting on Grey Goose's advice I'm trying to get a printout of my latest blood test results. I've just spoken to the Practice Manager at my GPs surgery who said I should be able to access them online which I can't seem to do at the moment.
I asked her what the actual result was and she said it was 1.44. The range is 0.38 to 5.50. I'm assuming this is the TSH level, (forgot to clarify that with her).
Does this sound absolutely normal?

This is why it's important to get actual results, not verbal ones
You need TSI or TRab antibodies tested for Graves
For full Thyroid evaluation you need TSH, FT4, FT3 plus TPO and TG thyroid antibodies and also very important to test vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
You may need "enhanced access" permission to see blood test results online. Ring and ask
Whatever it is (quite probably TSH), it does appear to be in range.
As for 'normal', normal for what ? You mentioned in another post that you'd been diagnosed with Graves' (possibly a relapse, as it seems you may have had it before), but unless you've been taking carbimazole or PTU, this level of TSH would be pretty high for someone with newly-diagnosed active Graves'. As SlowDragon has said, we need to see the rest of the results.
Don't let them fob you off with saying you can get your results online - they need to explain to you how to do this.
Yes, experienced similar situation trying to access my blood test results.
I popped in to ask why ? It seems I had restricted access, just repeat prescriptions and possibly appointments. I was told it wasn't " all up and running ". I was also told I could make an appointment to see my records, with a member of staff having to be present, as I did so. This was back in September 2018.
I wrote to ask for a full print out of all blood tests results, to include T3 - T4 and dosage levels of Levothyroxine, as per Prof Toft's counterblast article.
I was sent laboratory sheets of TSH only lab results, what a waste of time and money.
I'm at an impasse with my doctor and am now self medicating.
I am less stressed, feeling more able and quietly confident in my progress.
Take care, you could be hitting a brick wall !!!!!
