My doctor doesn't want to prescribe me anything (TSH 4.3, low vit D, plenty of hypo symptoms) however I'm glad in a way to have connected the dots with my health problems.
Could anyone recommend any books on helping to understand hypothyroidism? Also recipe books? I know there's lots of info online but it's good to sit with the printed page isn't it?
Thanks,
Alex

The Tired Thyroid book by Barbara Lougheed will teach you a lot about the role of thyroid hormones. It also debunks a lot of the misinformation you'll find online.
