I find myself going around in circles when it comes to researching online so I thought maybe it was time I actually looked at things a bit more in deapth. There are so many books out there and amazon reviews aren't always reliable so thought I'd ask the experts and see which books you would recommend I read. Especially interested in Hashimoto and hypothyroidism.

Which books would you recommend I read?
I am currently reading Stop the thyroid madness, good if a bit American in tone. Dr Peatfield's book is excellent, I have just read that on kindle. I have also just ordered dr Skinner's too. I think there is a link to books on the ThyroidUK website
These were my top 3 too
Hi, I have a shelf full of thyroid and adrenal books that I've bought over the years including those by Dr. Peatfield, Dr. Skinner, Dr. Hertoghe and other doctors, and books about the pros and cons of treatment with NDT and/or T3, gluten free diets and all the rest. I've read countless research papers and over the years have gleaned a huge amount of information about the theory and mechanics of treating thyroid and adrenal disease, but none of them hit the spot.
Without a doubt the VERY best book I've read and the one which makes the most sense to me was called On Hope and Healing by Dr. Neil Nathan. It is now updated and called
"Healing Is Possible: New Hope for Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Persistent Pain, and Other Chronic Illnesses"
Dr. Nathan takes a holistic approach to chronic illness including thyroid and adrenal disease and what he says was a revelation to me. A VERY good read.

Thank you both for the suggestions. As you say Jane there is just so much out there and as money is tight I want to spend my money wisely.
Do you know you can borrow books from TUK? I've never done it but I'm sure someone will tell you how.
Oh really? Thanks for the tip. I couldn't see anything with regards to this on the website so maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
Dr Barry Durrant-Peatfield's book: Your Thyroid and How To Look Keep It Healthy. Super book, very helpful indeed
Thanks HEA72, I've managed to find that one at my local library so I've put a reserve on it. Thank you
I found Paul Robinson a good book to read RECOVERING WITH T3, he is hypothyroid and has hashimoto . Hope you find this helpfull.
A few years ago I picked up a used copy of The Thyroid Solution by Ridha Arem for next to nothing on Amazon and found it surprisingly interesting. Here's a link to it:
Excellent. Thank you both,much appreciated.
