my personal heartbeat is usually between 80 and 90, and my resting heartbeat is 78. I believe that a resting heartbeat of 100 or less is accepted as normal.
over the years ive been pre diabetic, then ive been ok ive had high levels a few years ago but that lowered and then last year it was high again and was put on metformin
i know my thyroid is off last TSH was 8 something but i cannot increase my dosage unless i try increasing one day a week and work up
i had bloods done yesterday so that will be interesting to see
I bought a meter to monitor the blood sugar as I felt sure I could not be diabetic. It is not expensive to buy on amazon. I have also found that I get a high reading in the morning on the glucose meter but it is the 'early morning phenomenon' and if I eat something small like a handfull of blueberries the blood sugar will come down to normal. The fasting blood sugar is high but apparently not a problem.
My heart rate and blood pressure were both extremely low before starting diagnosis. BP dropping to 70/40 RHR 43 bpm. I was having chest pains and coughing up fluid as well no one thought to check my thyroid! Had every test under the sun on heart but doctors kept saying they couldn’t explain the slow heart rate because the rhythm was normal.
As soon as I reached optimal medication my heart rate and blood pressure improved considerably. Get your TSH down and your T3 up and your heart rate should return to normal. Good luck! 💐💐
