Jarrows do a 1000mcg lozenge, you should find it on Amazon
I like Cytoplan cytoplan.co.uk/vitamin-b12-...
Don't forget you need to supplement for your low Vit D as mentioned in your previous post.
Thank you for your continuous support is 1000mcg 1mg?
Yes I’m still deciding what amount of Vit D to take with a blood result of 46
Wayne
Yes 1000mcg is the same as 1mg but I think it always shows the dose in mcg.
I posted the doses of Vit D to take as recommeded by the Vit D Council on your other thread. Why not go for the middle one and take 5000iu daily.

What do you think about the chewable tablets for B12? Do you think the softgels are better?
Wayne
I've never used chewable B12, I've always stuck to the recommended sublingual. If you have a problem with absorption then sublingual or oral sprays bypass the stomach.
As for softgels - do you mean for B12 or for the D3? As above, bypassing the stomach would be best for B12 so that would discount softgels. And with any softgel always check that the oil in not soybean oil. I use D3 softgels with extra virgin olive oil.
Doctors best do 1000mg chewable B12 tabs
I haven't got any issues with absorption so I assume these will be ok?
Wayne
Low D3. Lowish B12. Have you had Folate and Ferritin tested?
I wouldn't be 100% sure that you don't have an absorption problem. Most of us Hypos have low stomach acid which would affect absorption.
A sublingual B12, dissolved under the tongue, goes straight into the blood stream via the tissues in the mouth and completely bypasses the stomach.
At the end of the day, you make your own choice, but it's my personal preference to take a sublingual B12 and that's what you'll see mostly recommended here.
Hi SeaSideSusie
Yes I've had those tested
I value your advice and you have explained it in a way that I now understand. I'm going to go with your advice.
Thank you for your on-going advice and support

Do you think I can take 2 months supply of vit d and b12 to start with to see if I feel better?
Wayne
You need to get Vit D up to 100-150nmol/L and B12 near the top of the range. I would take the supplements for 3 months and retest.
Testing B12 whilst supplementing won't give you a base level to show what you're holding on to but it will indicate if the dose you are taking is adequate, too much or too little.
No need to leave off either supplement for any length of time, just take after the test on the day.
Once you reach the recommended levels you will need maintenance doses to keep them there.
