Have you noticed that almost everything in the supermarket is plastic wrapped meat, dairy, vegetables etc. Plastics contain (not all) Bisphenol A.

BPA is a chemical known to cause endocrine disruption, hormone imbalances

that can give rise to estrogen dominance.

As many will know estrogen dominance can affect the thyroid's function

and can cause hypothyroid issues, weight gain ,fibroids, pcos ,breast cancer

infertility in women and prostate cancer, male infertility and breast enlargement

stomach enlargement . So what do do? Is there a test for estrogen dominance?

what can be done to reduce exposure? some foods are to be avoided and

don't handle till receipts. Buy foods without plastic wrapping if possible.

here is a link to a video which may help: just enter this title ; Poison Bisphenol A

in Plastics, canned foods, baby bottles, making babies stupid.

You are correct. It is so ubiquitous and makes it so difficult to avoid. I use wax paper in the house or glass if possible.

I would love to be able to completely avoid plastic. working on it.I also believe that air pollution is a big factor. Our hormones are so sensitive.

Couldn't agree more Porter. I have always felt suspicious of anything wrapped in plastic and have always avoided them. Not a scientific reason, just a hunch and an aversion.

Yes. Totally agree! Plastic is a killer! So hazardous.

Yet, the use of plastic, air pollution, etc, are rife!

I'm a little confused regarding PCOS. Over 30 years ago, I was put on HRT to treat hirsuitism, very heavy menstrual bleeding, and weight gain. I was told at the time that my estrogen levels were low. Another doctor has since told me that those symptoms were consistent with PCOS. How does estrogen levels too low equate with "estrogen dominance" (which sounds lie too MUCH estrogen?
