I have re-tested for my thyroid and here are the results;
T4 - 94
TSH - <0.01
Free thyroxine 17.5
Free T3 9.8
Thyroglobulin antibody <10
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies 9.9
Thank you very much if you can help me understand these results? My TSH is low but I have been told that taking an NDT tablet can cause this to be low and it has been constant at this level since I have been taking NDT. I take 2 grains of Nature Throid daily.
Thank you again.

Did you leave 8-12 hours between last dose of NDT and blood draw?
Do you take a B Complex containing Biotin, if so did you leave it off for 3-5 before blood test?
As SlowDragon has said, we need the reference ranges but it looks very much like your FT3 is quite a way over range and this would mean you are overmedicated.
As you haven't added the reference ranges, we don't know how much over range your FT3 is. But reducing dose is a good idea, whether that be 1/4 of a grain or 1/2 grain is up to you, but retest 6 weeks after reducing to check your levels then, and adjust dose again if necessary.
I will post results with reference ranges here, no point in having 2 posts going as it gets too confusing. I will close your other post.
T4 - result 94 ranges 59-154 nmol/L
TSH - result <0.01 ranges 0.27 - 4.2 miu/L
Free thyroxine - result 17.5 ranges 12 - 22 pmol/l
Free T3 - result 9.8 ranges 3.1- 6.8 pmol/L
Thyroglobulin Antibodies result <10 ranges 0-115 iu/ml
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies result 9.9 ranges 0-34 iu/ml
I hope that helps, do you think im taking too much NDT? I mostly feel fine but im also peri menopausal and often have spikes of heat feeling like im going to burst into flames and then feel a little shaky at times. Im not sure what these results mean and do need some help with them.
So yes, your FT3 is very over range and you need to reduce your NDT. If it was me then I would reduce gradually, 1/4 of a grain now, retest in 6 weeks. I think your FT3 will still be over range and you could then try another 1/4 of a grain reduction. Best to do it gradually than too much at once in my opinion.
Thank you, so I have 1 grain tablets, I will cut them as close to it as I can.
Thanks again, I can see it in the result vs range but feel a little silly that I couldn't see the obvious for myself, I just feel so lost with it all and really can't thank this site enough for helping me just give me that opinion that I need. My GP's just don't really want to understand or seem to want to help with any of it. He just looks at TSH all the time.
Thanks again, you have no idea how helpful you all are.
