Hi and good morning

I'm after a bit of advice please,I've had an under active thyroid for a few years now, but recently I've felt really unwell and have had numerous blood tests and more today, I have raised alkaline phosphate and high calcium levels in my blood was told last week I should of been admitted to hospital to be treated via a drip,I'm losing my hair by the handful, apparently I have had raised alkaline phosphate for 2 years but just been told .I'd be grateful for any advice you guys can give, apparently I'm allergic to saliacyics too .thank you in advance x

Morning Leanne & welcome to the forum.

I'm so sorry you are feeling so unwell, I remember how unwell I was myself, before I found this wonderful forum.

First thing to do in order to help you is if you can post your current results with their ranges, members will be able to advise.

I'm sorry I can't advise on your other issues but there will be someone who will come along & help with those, I'm sure 😊

With high ALP and high calcium, it rather sounds as if you have overactive parathyroid glands. But, I'm afraid I have no idea how that is treated.
