Hot and shaky

Hi, TSH 0.14 range 0.4 - 4.Have been cutting grass and all shaky and hot inside my body,my arms are so painful now as well.Any exception makes me short of breath and hot.Any ideas,I have decreased thyroxine from 125 to 112.5 a day for 11 days,it seems to have made me worse !

For a full thyroid picture you need more than just TSH, you need FT4 and FT3 as well. You can't know if you're optimally medicated, under or over medicated just by looking at TSH. When testing, you should leave 6-8 weeks between any dose change and retest.

O know ,but go will not test for 53 anymore as I have come off it and Ft4only gets tested every now and then.So hard to battle GPS and try to keep them onside.

You may have to do what hundreds of other members do, and get a private test for a full thyroid panel. Sometimes on offer with Medichecks on Thyroid Thursday for £29 - Thyroid Monitoring, it's the one I do.

If you're not converting T4 to T3 well enough, and your FT3 is low, that's what causes symptoms, so you really need to get the full set of results to know what's going on.
