Does anyone have shaky hands when undermedicated? Looking it up, it is usually only attributed to over medication.

Shaky hands
The classic sign of overmedication is not exactly 'shaky hands' .... it is a very 'fine tremor' in the fingers. (often so fine it can't be seen easily unless you balance a sheet of paper on the back of your hand) . Arms outstretched in front of you , palms down . fingers loosely outstretched.
Is that what you mean ? or do you mean actual 'shakes' l like the hand itself is wobbling?
Yeah, I guess I mean more of that fine tremor, particularly bad in my right hand and right ring finger which sometimes is wobbling around when I really stretch the fingers. I have always had some stiffness in the right hand and wrist and wondering if carpal tunnel or something is exacerbating it. But I also have the tremor to some degree in the left hand. It's just unusual to me because I definitely don't think I'm under medicated since I am now taking a much lower dose than I did previously.
I have the ‘fine tremor tattybogle describes when my medication needs adjusting; I’ve had it both when over and under medicated. I wouldn’t make a good waitress! 🤣
Hi cam92,
I'm not on any thyroid hormones as I'm still being diagnosed but have in the past had shaky hands. My B vitamin levels were found to be low as once I started supplementing the tremor stopped. Might be worth seeing what your levels are?
Best wishes
I had shaky hands before I was diagnosed with an over active thyroid, since they have killed it with RAI which I wouldnt recommend unless you really have to, I havent suffered since with it, so I would think you are taking too much meds
