You also have to state the ranges. Ranges are the figures in brackets after the results. Labs differ in their ranges and it enables members to respond.

Can you also please say if you have a diagnosis of a thyroid condition and what meds you are taking, if any.

Doctor said I need to see endocrinologist and no I not any thyroid meds. I had blood taken in February and everything was normal then.

Have you had any antibody tests done? That is absolutely essential. You could have Grave's, or possibly Hashi's. But, you won't know unless antibodies are tested. :)

No it was just a bog standard blood test done on Wednesday . That was where the abnormal results were found. My only symptoms I have are excessive sweating my heart rate has been high recently and my bloody eye feels so scratchy

Gig, you are getting too much hormone pushing your metabolism to higher levels. Some sort of stress is usually behind this and that can be chemical stress as well as emotional stress. It's hard to tell what exactly is going on and why but you could peruse some of the links on this site. Graves is the term for hyperthyroid conditions but there are other reasons for excess hormone being released. stopthethyroidmadness.com/t...

Not really under any stress apart from middle age. How can the throid change in short amount of time between blood tests four months. Will the endocrinologist conduct more tests. I don't know when I will get to see them with the star of the NHS. Would you say that my results are very unusual. I've looked at graves disease on the internet. Is there a link between thyroid and epilepsy as I'm epikeptic

My eyes are very irrittable and I'm sweating like a pig even if I'm sitting I'm front of a fan.

I'm on seizure medication and have been for ten years any connection?

I've now been given carbizamole 15 my a day but I still feel crap . How long does the mediation take to work?
