Do any one you use quality omega oil supplements , in particular Salmon oil or high quality cod liver oil ? If so , have you noticed improvement ?

Interesting read :

I use Opti Omega 3 from Healthspan,as tests showed it had top quality filtration methods for purity.Just upped to 2,000 a day.as I am tapering off SSRIs & the forum recommends a minimum of 2,000 plus vitamin E in mixed tocapherols.

Cod Liver Oil also has vitamin A & I'm not sure if we are still advised to avoid vitamin A except as beta carotene?

Thank you Naomi for your reply . Have you noticed improvement since taking it ?

I am aware of vitamin A in Cod liver - this is why I chose Carlson - low levels of vit A and highest EPA and DHA plus vit E I ever come across ( pills or oil ) and it’s natural oil without additives ( it wasn’t cheap at £40 for 500ml bottle ) , plus high content of vit D

But I am considering swapping over to quality Sockeye salmon once this bottle is used up

Will read the articles now. Thanks for posting.I use capsules.I can't say I've noticed any effects, but think its a good supplement to take.As I take so many & also have to pay for NDT & LDN,I always source best quality I can afford,at a price I can afford. This means I get all my supplements from Ebay shops.Plus Healthspan for non-acidic vit C & Omega 3.

not impressed with thyroid advisor.advice to use bladderwrack & kelp & iodine ill advised

Being vegan, I use flax seed oil. Krill oil might avoid the vitamin A controversy

It's hard to be sure, but I'm still around more than 10 years after a breast cancer diagnosis with no conventional treatment.
