I'm not sure there are any. It's probably harmless. How big is it? If you have any pain, or troubled vision, you should go and see your doctor. We are a thyroid forum, and there's no guarantee than anyone here knows much about eyes.

Well, all I can tell you is that my son had a huge red clot in his eye when he was a few months old. I rushed to the doctor immediately I saw it and was snarled at for wasting the doctor's time! However, he did refer me to one of the big London hospital eye departments, and we trudged backwards and forwards for appointments, for many months, with no real results. They really had no idea what it was. And, eventually, it went away and has never come back. He's nearly 50, now!
