Book about red light therapy

Could anyone recommend such a book? I bought a red light lamp some time ago, but haven't really got into using it. Apparently it can be used for mood as well as pain, which is interesting. The light also frightens me a bit, though it is meant not to be harmful to the eyes.

I’ve just bought and started using red light therapy after a friend recommended and it came with goggles.

Like you, I needed to know how best to make use of it and found Ari Whitten’ s Kindle book helpful.

For some reason, I’m not able to post the links I found 🤔 ?

From the book:

“….red/NIR light has proven to have remarkably beneficial effects on immune function.”

It was possible to download Ari’s book for free but I can’t see it right now. If I see it I’ll let you know.

This website is great for information too.

Thank you. A short guide came with the lamp, but it wasn't detailed.

To be honest most of the book is about how IR and RL can help different parts of the body with links to studies to back this up. Followed by what he considers to be the qualities you need to look for in order to buy a device. Based on the science. The end of the book is about Ari’s recommendations for different red light devices.

I used his recommendations to buy a powerful enough device.

What did you buy?

I bought the Helios 2 Series - 600w Half Body Red Light Therapy Device, based on Ari’s recommendations on the number of bulbs, wattage, wavelength etc. The wavelengths used in all those studies are 660nm and 850nm which this device has. Also the angle of the bulbs can matter too.
