Advice on Thyroid function test results.

Would some one be kind enough to give me some advice - 6 months ago I had a blood test done privately for thyroid function and they advised a repeat test in 6 months. The results were:-

TSH- 2.76 in a range of 0.27 - 4.2 mlU/L

FT4-13.10 “ 12 -22 pmol/L

FT4- 3.30 “ 3.1-6.8 pmol/L

As the ft4 & ft3 are at the lower end of what is considered normal I would like to know your thoughts on whether I should go to my doctors and ask for a repeat test. I do have other symptoms, hair loss, pins and needles in arm, brain fog, weight gain etc. etc. I don’t want to appear to be a hypochondriac, although to be fair I haven’t been to the doctors in 5 years. Please advise everyone seems to be very knowledgeable on this site.

Thank you in advance

Look on the Thyroid uk site who run this forum. Lots of good info and also a list of symptoms. Print that off and tick the ones you have. May be more than you think. It may help then to ask your doctor for a trial.
