Hi

I’m hypothyroid with a tsh of 2.2 as of two weeks ago.

Over the past few days been feeling hot then cold. Sometimes even clammy.

Could this be thyroid related? I have never has this before and always feeling cold.

Feel abit weak and tired but no other issues

Thanks

Forgot to add prior to results I was on 75mcg. After speaking to the doctor after the results we agreed on alternate 75mcg/ 100mcg and I had symptoms

TSH should be around one and FT4 towards top of range and FT3 at least half way in range.

TSH of 2.2 suggests you are under medicated and ready for dose increase

Have you had vitamins tested, do you have Hashimoto's (high antibodies).

If you have Hashimoto's are you on strictly gluten free diet

Hi

Thank you for you reply

Yes I think I need to be on only 100mcg.

T4 is 23 and t3 I need to get done privately as nhs won’t do it.

Antibodies are in range. I am mostly gluten free anyway as suits my tummy better.

It does really need to be 100% strictly gluten free to work well

If you don't supplement it's probably good idea to test vitamin levels too, especially if not 100% gluten free
