Throat tight and crawling in lower legs
If I were you I'd ring 111 and take an anti-histamine. I'm intolerant to Levothyroxine but never experienced any of your symptoms.
PS. Have they just started you on 100? They're supposed to slowly build up the dose, I began on 25 as 50 caused heart palpitations.
Check vitamin B12 and folate, plus ferritin
Do you have Hashimotos also called autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosed by high thyroid antibodies?
If so are you on strictly gluten free diet?
Can You add your latest TSH, FT4 and FT3 results and ranges
Tight throat is also a sympton of hashimotos if you have that, it is a horrid feeling and many here have it. Mine comes and goes but usually on a hashi flare-.xx
Thank you all for your help. I have taken anti histamine and feel a little relief. Will try gluten free and find out if it is hashimotos. I was started on 25 and built up to 100. Thank you.x
My mum continually complained about a crawling sensation in her scalp- almost like insects were inside. I believe it is a symptom of low B12. Since she's been on 5000mcg of B12 a day, the sensation has completely stopped. Important to test your levels before supplementing as once you start B12, your results are skewed unless you stop it completely for 4-6 months.
Low iron can give a symptom of a crawling sensation in legs.
