Gastritis with amalgam fillings

Good morning,

I am new to this group. I’ve had several test for hpylori and sibo with negative results. However, the endoscopy shows I have gastritis and gerd. I’ve had to stop taking the meds because they make it worse and the diets just don’t work. I am currently working with a Ayurveda practitioner who determined that my fillings are the cause of my gastritis and must be removed. I’ve had my fillings for over 45 years. Through research I’ve found many cases with others who experienced gastrointestinal disorders and had fillings that were removed and their symptoms alleviated or gone. I’m just ranting and frustrated.

When you have your amalgams removed, be sure to go to a biological dentist. You can Google to see what the proper procedure is.

Are you diagnosed as hypothyroid? Or autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto's?

Low stomach acid is common result.

Symptoms of low stomach acid and high stomach acid are extremely similar. Treatment is very different

Add thyroid test results and ranges if you have them

TSH, FT4 and FT3, plus thyroid antibodies, vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12
