Interpreting test results.: Was called to docs... - Thyroid UK
Interpreting test results.
Do you have any other thyroid results with ranges ? Do you have Hashi's ? You also need to have B12 - Folate - Ferritin - VitD tested for the Thyroid hormone to work well in the body and for you to feel well. When you have the results start a new post so more members see it
I'll speak to gp and see what they'll do. Thank you.
You need to ask for copies of all your test results with ranges - so you can post here with more information - in a new post Have you been told you have Hashimotos ? - were your anti-bodies tested called TPO ? From reading thousands of posts here over six years I am afraid the GP's know very little about the thyroid or the relevant and very important tests that are needed to be well - we have to take control of our own health - sadly.
How are you getting on? Read this because I was interested in your attempt to give up t3. In my experience calorie control is not a good idea but changing what you eat is effective in weight loss. It sounded like you were on the right path. What meds have you ended up on?
