Folate is deficient. 5mg folic acid should be prescribed but if you have B12 deficiency B12 injections should be initiated 48 hours prior to starting folic acid.
Ferritin is deficient and this can indicate iron deficiency anaemia. Your GP should do an iron panel and full blood count to check.
It would be a good idea to ask your GP to check vitamin D level as your other vitamins and minerals are low/deficient.
Your ferritin is very low. GP should do a full iron panel test. You will definitely need iron supplements, possibly an iron infusion
B12 is on the low side. Ideally GP should test for Pernicious Anaemia especially as you are already taking folic acid that can mask B12 symptoms. And folic acid is still below range. Are you only taking once a week or once a day?
Your TSH result appears slightly low. This is probably because your vitamin levels are so low.
Normally FT4 would be high if TSH is low
But your FT4 is slightly low and there is no FT3 test or TPO and TG thyroid antibodies. Ask that these are tested. I will be surprised if GP can get FT3 tested, but it should be
Also ask for vitamin D to be tested and coeliac blood test as possible reason for very poor vitamins. You don't have to have obvious gut symptoms.
Ferritin needs further investigation if you have been on 2 tablets some time. Dose can be 3 x daily and taking vitamin C at same time may improve absorption
Your results are not borderline anything; they are normal. However your B12 ferritin and folate are awful and may be contributing to your slightly lower than expected Free T4 (and I bet your free T3 is lower than optimal as well). You need to ask for a full iron panel and might need an iron infusion as you probably have iron-deficiency anaemia. Your folate is also very low and B12 very poor, so you also need to be tested for pernicious anaemia and definitely need to supplement folate and B12 (but not until you've been tested). You just might be tending towards secondary/central hypo, but it is more likely just vitamin deficiencies right now. Do NOT let GP put you on carbimazole or you'll be very ill.
