Welcome to our forum and our members are happy to share their experiences.

Do you have the ranges of your above results because we cannot respond without the ranges. Labs differ and it makes it easier to respond.

Ranges are usually after the results and they are in bracket.

50mcg is a starting dose of levothyroxine and you should have a blood test every six weeks with an incremental dose of 25mcg until your TSH is 1 or lower with a Free T4 and Free T3 in the upper part of the range.

All blood tests for thyroid hormones have to be at the very earliest, fasting (you can drink water) and allow a gap of 24 hours between last dose of levo and test and take afterwards. This helps keep TSH at its highest as that's all doctors seem to look at.

Ask for B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate to be tested next time as we need everything to be optimal.

Levo should be taken, usually first thing when we get up with one full glass of water and wait an hour before eating. Food interferes with the uptake.

Others prefer bedtime dose so would have last eaten about 3 hours before. If having a blood test next a.m. you have to miss this dose and take after test and at night as usual.

What is your calcium level ? Are you taking Vitd ? If you have been diagnosed with hyperparathyroidism (parathyroid adenoma) you need to be careful taking Vitd as it will increase your calcium level.

Has your doctor referred you for parathyroid surgery ?

The Levo won't do anything for the parathyroid, you need surgery to remove the parathyroid adenoma.

Raoudha,

Afraid you cannot do that. You can attach a single image (jpeg or png - possibly some other formats) to the first post in a thread. Or you can upload the file to a sharing service (such as Dropbox) and post a link to that.
