Party Time Happy New Year

Party Time

I’d like to plan a party for all my hypo friends,

We’d have it in late morning when we’re all awake and then –

we’d sit around with daylight bulbs, emitting daylight beams

and choose some quiet party games with calming restful themes.

We’d sip adrenal cocktails with salt and tartar cream

swapping tips on how we’re going each, to reach our health-filled dreams.

We’d pass the parcel quietly and sit on comfy chairs -

laughing at all the missing words and ignoring thinning hair.

And when we’d had enough of games we’d all sit down to eat,

A feast of gluten, dairy free with some amazing treats;

a pile of super vegetables and energising salad

Whilst listening to more music and a hypothyroid ballad.

Some fruit and wholenut smoothies and a little chicken broth

And then at about half past three we’d all be nodding off.

Wishing all patients out there diagnosed and undiagnosed a Happy and Healthy 2014!
