Urine protein electrophoresis - trace of albumin only.
I’m a little baffled. I am still ridiculously fatigued and have managed to acquire some sort of virus type thing that has left me again with swollen glands, productive cough and difficulty in swallowing...
Does any of the above results mean anything to anyone?
Thanks

TSH 3.0 indicates your thyroid gland is struggling but is still within range and FT4 and FT3 levels are within range so you are not yet hypothyroid. NHS won't diagnose hypothyroidism until TSH is >4.7 or FT4 is <7.8.
Thyroid peroxidase antibodies are mildly positive for autoimmune thyroiditis (Hashimoto's). There is no cure for Hashimoto's which causes 90% of hypothyroidism. Levothyroxine treatment is for the low thyroid levels Hashimoto's eventually causes. Many people have found that 100% gluten-free diet is helpful in reducing Hashi flares, symptoms and eventually antibodies and supplementing 100-200mcg selenium will support the thyroid gland and may delay progression to hypothyroidism.
