Advice what dose of levo

My latest results showed too high level of ft4 23.3 (12-22) within range ft3 on125mcg levo. On 112.5mcg levo results was ft4 15.5 (10-19.8)

What do you experts think shall I decrease back to 112,5 or even more to 100mcg levo?

Do you have the numbers for the FT3? It's possible you're just not converting the levo.

Yes latest was 6.1(3.1-6.8)

I'm taking 12.5mcg t3 also with the levo.

OK, so on 125 mcg levo and 12.5 mcg T3 your results were

FT4 23.3 (12-22)

FT3 6.1 (3.1-6.8)

When you were taking 112.5 mcg levo, were you also taking 12.5 mcg T3? If so, it didn't matter that your FT4 was 15.5 (10-19.8), as long as your FT3 was the right level for you.

You can't just address the levo dose in isolation when you're also taking T3. You have to compare the two. And, take into consideration how you feel on those doses.

No, I was only taking 6.25 T3.

Do you think it will be enough to lower t4 to 112.5 as it was before increase? Or shall I decrease by 25?

Did you decrease the levo when you increased your T3? If not, decrease by 25. You probably don't need all that T4.

I would try 112mcg and retest in 6 weeks

Have you tested vitamin levels recently

Essential to have good levels of vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12

Ferritin 90 (10-290)

The others are fine 6 months ago.

Assuming you're in UK 70nmol is on low side

Increasing to around 100nmol

Are you supplementing? If so how much

Ferritin is best at least half way in range, eating liver once a week should help

Why worry about being a little over range? Are you getting hyper symptoms? If not and you are feeling well and symptom free. Enjoy it and stop worrying about the numbers.
