Can anyone cast any opinions whether they think Thyroid-S is stronger than Naturethroid?

Sheenah,

They both have 38mcg T4 and 9mcg T3 in one grain.

Thanks Clutter. My husband has swapped and whereas he was taking two and a half grains, he has only been taking two grains of T-S. Perhaps it's early days yet.

Yes I think it is, I've taken several NDTs over the years. I took Thyroid-S for about 2 years until earlier this year when my endocrinologist prescribed Nature-Throid for me, and to reach the same blood test levels (which the endo considered as well as my symptoms) I had to increase the dose. In fact he has now changed my prescription for WP to see if that suits me better.

Thanks for that. He has been taking it for 12 days now and appears to feel the same, although as I said, it is perhaps early days. I am taking Naturethroid, and am considering trying the T-S also.

Thanks once again!

I think that they contain the same.
