I used to take 1.75 grains (113.75 mcg) Naturethroid when it still worked.
What's the equivalent of Thyroid S? What have people found.
I've been managing since I ran out of Naturethroid on alternate days of 1 gr and 1.25 gr of Armour, a nibble of T4 and .25/50 grain of NP at nights, depending on how I felt. i know it's not ideal - I swing between slumpy and slightly jumpy - but it's been a lot better than nothing
Hopefully establishing a proper dosage will bring some stability.

I made a typo with the amount of T4 in one grain, I have corrected it now.
T4 = 38mcg, T3 = 9 mcg.
Thyroid-S has a lot more fillers than Naturethroid so may not be absorbed the same way. You have to experiment to see if they work the same or if you need slightly more Thyroid-S.But, why are you alternating between 1 and 1.25 of Armour and 25/50 of NT? It´s usually recommended to take the same amount of T3 every day due to its short-life.
One grain wasn't enough, one and a quarter too much, if I took either dosage for any length of time. I added a nibble of T3, and had another nibble if I felt slumpy later.
I found Naturethroid slightly less potent than thyroid S, but that was the old version of both so it probably doesn’t apply any more. I didn’t find a huge difference to be honest.
Don’t know but I have old stock pre it getting hard to source so it was the original formulation. Some say the newer batches are less potent. But it may be the same recipe as before. Would be interesting to know for sure.
Sounds good! I take all of mine am. All at night and I find it hard to sleep never thought to split it like you are doing. I had to at first into two doses am and pm but found after a couple of years taking it all at once was fine. I very rarely remember my dreams I fall asleep too fast and wake up too slowly to have any recall!
