Hi I am new could someone please PM me a source of T3. I am a poor converter of T4 to T3 and diagnosed hypothyroid 2011. Current dose 175mcg levothyroxine and I have ongoing symptoms which endo thinks will go away on antidepressants also thyroid swollen at the front and feels bumpy thank you
TSH 0.03 (0.2 - 4.2)
Free T4 21.0 (12 - 22)
Free T3 4.2 (3.1 - 6.8)

Your endo isn't competent to decide you need anti-depressants. Your T3 isn't unduly low but you may feel better with it between 5.5 - 6.8. Is there any reason your endo won't prescribe T3 to see whether symptoms improve?
Endo won't prescribe because he does not approve of it. Previous endo did thank you

I really wish doctors would stop imposing their bias and would prescribe T3 when patients tell them it does help them and they do feel well when taking it.
T3 which you buy online is likely to be 25mcg not 20mcg so buy a pillcutter and quarter or halve the tablets to achieve the doses you require.
