Shirley,
Are you sure you mean Williams syndrome?
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willi...
I suspect you might actually have meant Wilson's Temperature Syndrome - a very controversial diagnosis which is rejected by very many medics. (I am sceptical but not to the point of dismissal - I simply do not know.)
Hi SJ, I have no medical expertise, so cannot advise from that perspective. What I can say, being Hashimoto’s diagnosed 20 months ago and still suffering major symptoms, although improving noticeably in the last 3 weeks.... what I can say is yes, I feel that my largest organ — my skin— is disordered. My temperature is usually in the low range, at the same time it often feels like my skin is burning up, but I am cold inside; woollen socks on my feet at night, with the fan on to cool the rest of me. Strange. That blissful feeling of homeostasis - when my skin feels “just right” - illudes me for all but a few moments here and there. The thyroid hormones govern all our major organs, our skin included. Sorry to hear you are affected by this symptom too.
Hi Shirley Im Hypo I take 225 thyroxine and burn up all the time Its awful..the bain of my life Mine started about 3 yrs ago I hit the menopause and it kicked me in the teeth.
