First thing on waking I take Vit B complex, iron(bisglycinate) with Vit C(Ester C), Vit B12 (methylcobalamin), selenium (selenomethionine) & folate (methylfolate) all of which are Solgar.
I breakfast a half hour later.
I've now received my Nutri Thyroid (gland concentrate & hormone free) & Nutri Adrenal Extra (adrenal concentrate)
Can anyone advise how I jig around with new timings on taking my new supplements with Vits. Obviously want to maximise absorption of everything I take. I'm aware your adrenals are raring to go in the morning, so will need to take adrenal extra first?
Would be most grateful if someone could advise & if anyone else is on the Nutri brand.
Thanks peeps

I can't help with your adrenal meds but by taking your iron with other supplements you stop them working. Iron needs to be taken 4 hours away from Levo and 2 hours away from any other medication and supplements. Take Vit C with iron to aid absorption.
B vitamins no later than lunchtime as they can be stimulating and taken too late in the day may disturb your sleep. So that's your B12 and folate. Is there a reason you're taking folate? When taking B12 we need a B Complex to balance all the B vitamins, and a decent one such as Thorne Basic B contains 400mcg methylfolate.
Selenium is a mineral and it's generally said that we should take vitamins in the morning and minerals in the evening.
I don't take Levo, I must admit. I've not gone through the GP route but have been a patient of Dr P & so have been taking other thyroid & adrenal products.
Greygoose, would you be able to recommend T3 brands I could buy online?
Thank you
You will only know if your adrenals are actually "raring to go in the morning", or indeed, what they're doing throughout the day, by having a 4 point saliva cortisol (pref. + DHEA) test.
