I have had Hashimotos for 6 years. I am 25 years old. I have been losing weight, getting tired, having hard stools, joint pain, dry skin, dry eyes, heavy periods, sweating less, dizziness, ears ringing. Am I likely undermedicated. Taking 100mcg levothyroxine thank you

TSH *7.4 (0.2 - 4.2)

Free T4 12.9 (12 - 22)

Free T3 4.2 (3.1 - 6.8)

TPO antibody *378 (<34)

TG antibody *299.5 (<115)

Can you post your most recent thyroid results. TSH, FT4 and FT3 (if you have that) - the actual results and ranges

plus do you know if you have high thyroid antibodies? If high this is diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease also called Hashimoto's

Have you also had vitamin D, folate, ferritin and B12 tested? If so post the results

Because doctors expect us to gain weight when hypo, it can be more difficult to get correct treatment if you are skinny.

But not everyone gains weight, some like you struggle to maintain weight

Definitely undermedicated. You need TSH about 1or below and FT4 and FT3 above half way.

So are you in UK? Those results are terrible for someone on Levo. Your TSH should be 1 or less and T4 and T3 are too low in their ranges. Ask for an increase in dose to 125mcg and get retested in 6 weeks, first thing in morning, fasting and do not take levo in 24 hours prior to test, take it after the blood test. Ask for Vit B12, iron, ferritin and folate to be tested also Vit D and ask for Thyroid antibody test, TPO and TgAb. They will probably only do some of these. If in UK get finger prick test from Medichecks. They have deals on a Thursday and results come back quickly. If you have raised antibodies and low Vits I would highly recommend a gluten free diet.

I have been hypo 10 years. At first I never questioned the medics. Then I got antibodies and felt terrible and thanks to this site took matters into my own hands. Things are a lot better but not perfect! Lots of good advice on here.
