And let's hope that his research will carry on and that there will be other researchers continuing to challenge the current thinking. I'll raise a glass to that!π·
Thanks for making these publications available helvella , really appreciated!π
I use an Android phone. I clicked the link in the post, and a HealthUnlocked page opened. I clicked on the link on that page, and I didn't think anything had happened, so I clicked it again, and it asked if I wanted to download the document again. I looked in my "Download" folder (using the Android "Files" app that is built into Android), and the document was there.
Thank you, the file was there but I got the message 'file type not supported' even though I was careful to keep the .pdf on the end when I renamed the file. When I emailed this same file to myself then downloaded from the email, it opened fine. Weird
Most members do not have Dropbox installed. The link should start a download which will go to your downloads folder (wherever that is) and then it usually opens - but sometimes you need to tell it to do so.
There is a huge number of videos on YouTube about how to view PDFs on Android. I don't have an Android device to use to check whether they are any good - but some will be OK!
If you have Google Chrome installed, I think that can view PDFs. It is a matter of telling your phone that is what you want to happen.
Do NOT go off downloading apps. Especially not Adobe PDF reader. It is awful! You probably have something that can display PDFs.
I've just realised that I no longer have any Dropbox software at all installed. Despite using the Dropbox storage. I use Maestral to synchronise between my machine (a Mac) and Dropbox. And use the Dropbox website for individual file handling. So there is certainly no need for anyone accessing my links to install it.
Thank you for taking the trouble to help. I don't know why, but when I emailed the downloaded file then clicked on 'open', I worked. There wasn't an option to "l'open with'.
I bet. For many reasons. Not least of which it was sort of final. We really have lost him. A man on our side. But this is a great piece of work from you. To ensure it's all in one place and not lost.

I really appreciate this, thank you. Everything I need in one location! I will be pushing my Gp for 3 month prescription in the new year as opposed to traipsing to the chemist every 28 days.
What a miss to us all in the Thyroid community Dr M (Diogenes) is and that loss is keenly felt. His legacy is that he left behind such an outstanding and comprehensive body of academic research. Who knew there would be so much of it. Hopefully, the thyroid community will benefit in years to come as his theories and research are proven to be correct and we overcome the current domination by T3 naysayers and TSH being the gold standard test at the expense of all else.
Thank you Helvella for compiling this, not an easy task but no doubt a labour of love.
