Antibiotics
For Flucloxacillin they advise one hour before food and/or two hours after food, so in my case I took the first dose of the day an hour before my Levothyroxine.
Some people report interactions. I'm currently taking Doxycycline and finding it more effective (with GP's approval) when taken once per day. I now take it at the same time as my Levothyroxine, and haven't suffered dire consequences.
Check back with your GP if you aren't showing an improvement within two or three days.
The soot thing has got worse, the redness has spread more, I've been on since Thursday evening, but thought she'd said to take three times a day. Not sure how to fit in four!!!
A standard thing to do is to mark around the edge of the redness, photograph and record the date, and see if it spreads further. Swelling and tenderness should also be looked out for. If it's due to an insect bite, then look out for a bull's-eye rash. If your skin blisters and leaks, there's a risk of bacteria gaining entry, so you'd need to see a nurse for dressings.
With four doses per day, I wasn't able to schedule breakfast. Fruit is a good option for mid-morning, as it can clear the stomach in 20 minutes, or an hour at most.
