Hi. Have just been prescribed flucloxacillin by my GP. It says to take 1 hour before food or 2 hours after, every 6 hours.
I normally take my levo between 5am and 7am, so I can go to work at 8am. Can I take the antibiotic with the levo or is that a bad idea. If I can't this is going to be a logistical nightmare!!
Thanks

I tried switching to taking levo at night but gave up after a few days as i could not sleep. I intend to give it another go when I have some time off work, but cannot cope with work and no sleep!
Carnation, I know you've said the dose of Flucloxacillin is every six hours, but is it three or four doses per day? If it's only three, then it shouldn't be too difficult to fit in. Four would be much trickier, and if it were me, I'd be tempted to risk taking it at the same time as the levo. Maybe check with a pharmacist just in case they have anything useful to say?
Unfortunately it is 4 times a day. Didn't think to ask the pharmacist unfortunately. Will have to take the two together tomorrow am and see how things go.
