Not if you have an underactive thyroid, in which case you will have problems absorbing and using vitamins. Your B12 needs to be towards the top of the range, so you need to supplement with Methylobalamin B12. I use Jarrow's lozenges.
the vast majority of people will be perfectly okay at this level (even if you are thyroid)
please evaluate whether you are symptomatic - or could be symptomatic (difficult because of overlap with thyroid symptoms but if your thyroid is under control and you are symptomatic)
