Hiya
My B12 level was classed as normal at 357, according to the nurse the range is between 180 - 866. Is it better to be higher or lower within the range?
Thanks

Definitely higher - with a range like that you should be aiming for about 700, so double what you are at the moment. Your body will get rid of any access B12, unlike other vitamins, so I would definitely be supplementing if I were you.
Try the Jarrow Methyl 1,000 as this is what I took, as do many on this site, and my levels doubled within 4 or 5 months.

p.s. sorry I did link you the product on Amazon but it took you straight into my account so had to delete it.

Doctors are happy for you to be in range - just ! That is fine if you are young and VERY healthy. If you have any health problems or are getting older then it is beneficial to be near the top of the range. Hope you have a healthy gut - as the B12 is ultimately absorbed in the Terminal Ileum. So IBS Colitis Diverticulitis Crohns and other gut problems all prevent good absorption......
