Starting to give up!

Hello I am trying to find answers to my chronic health problems since beginning of August 2017. I will try to make this as short as possible.

I was diagnosed with Graves 2003, had RAI in 2009 went hypo straight away then onto Levo now at 75mcg. Although I have never felt my normal healthy self since I seemed to managed with the aches/pains using Vit D3 plus liquid mineral/vits and healthy food. In 2015 & 2016 I collapsed in excruciating pain unable to move my whole body. I recovered and carried on but now since August 2017 it is happening more frequently, every time I feel it is my time to go. I am physically worn out and each day is a battle to survive.

I have had tests for my thyroid but they all say normal, cortisone normal. I am about to take a 24 hr urine test but I do not know what to do if it is normal....how can everything be normal when my body is telling me I am dying and cannot go on!

Sorry to be so negative but I am wondering if anyone has had the collapsing problems.

I have just realised today that the collapsing problems are usually between 3:30am to 10am? This scaring my teenage daughter as she is normally the only one to witness these terrible episodes.

I think I would like to try NDT to see if it helps my body to live again.

Thank you for listening.

My last TSH level was 2.89

T4 18

Cortisone 546

I don't have the latest T3 or antibody results here I will have to get them tomorrow.

This TSH is probably much to high for someone on Levothyroxine, it normally needs to be one (or less)

Do you have full Thyroid test results including ranges

TSH, FT4 and FT3 (essential)

Thyroid antibodies

Also

Vitamin D

Folate

B12

Ferritin

If you can't get full thyroid and vitamin testing from GP

thyroiduk.org.uk/tuk/testin...

Medichecks Thyroid plus ultra vitamin or Blue Horizon Thyroid plus eleven are the most popular choice. DIY finger prick test or option to pay extra for private blood draw. Both companies often have money off offers.

All thyroid tests should be done as early as possible in morning and fasting and don't take Levo in the 24 hours prior to test, delay and take straight after.

Thank you Slow Dragon. I will post all my results on Monday.

I asked my GP why my TSH level had gone from 1.3 in Nov 2016 to 2.89 in August 2017. He said it didn't matter as it was still normal but with all the symptoms I am getting it certainly isn't normal.

Read all the posts here every day, you will soon realise that in range is not the same as optimal

Correct Thyroid replacement and good vitamin levels are currently very poorly understood and poorly managed
