Can NDT cause cool flushed feelings in forehead?

I have been on EFRA Thyroid since July 12, 2017. I started on 60mg and have been on 120mg for a month. I'm having a blood test today hoping the Dr. can raise my dose. My complaints continue to be fatigue, muscle aches and soreness (brain fog no longer seems to be a problem).

I can't remember when the following started, but I experience a cool flushed feeling in my forehead. It's not warm and my face doesn't get red. It's not my cheeks - just my forehead. It seems to come and go during the day. Could this be due to the T3 in NDT? I searched the forum and didn't get conclusive evidence.

My labs on July 11, 2017 while taking 100mcg Synthroid before starting the NDT were:

TSH 0.17

FT4 20.5 (9-23)

FT3 3.8 (3.5-6.5)

THANK YOU!

GarryB,

I'm sorry you've had no replies. I've not seen reports of NDT causing flushing but overmedication can cause flushing and sweating. When you get your thyroid results and ranges post them in a new question for advice.

Thank you, I will right away. I got the results of my blood test today ...

Your FT3 is low you are possibly under medicated.

Sorry I misread you question please disregard my reply.

Just a follow up note. I realized I'm not having the flushing anymore. I can't say why but maybe it has something to do with getting used to the NDT. I'm not sure.
