B12 looks low. What's GP doing about it? Anything?
You could ask GP for the MMA test which I understand is a more reliable/specific test than B12 levels. BUT May I suggest you post these results and info of any symptoms on the Pernicious Anemia forum for their expert advice first? I am not qualified and don't know enough. Just that those B12 results are low.
You could also look on NHS choices B12 deficiency and see if you have the symptoms.
Hope this helps a little.

Thank you,I've been feeling totally exhausted and no matter how much sleep I get I never feel energised.
Sorry, forgot to mention your Vitamin D. Are you on tablets?
Have you seen your GP yet with regards to requesting testing for Pernicious Anemia?

Do you mean vit D supplements? No I aren't. I'm on 100 Levo and 20 liothyronine mcg.
It looks like you might need some Vitamin D supplementation. However your result is much higher than mine and I've not had any till quite recently.
It's difficult to say as you have not given range and full inforation with VitD result. Did you get a print out of your bloods results. Could you give all info on here?

Hi, the results are exactly written down as they are on my record. There are no rangers given.
Tldg45 B12 is definitely too low, anything under 500 can cause neurological problems. It's recommended for us hypos that it should be 900-1000. As Mary says, post on the PA forum for further advice healthunlocked.com/pasoc

Vit D is too low at 53 if that is nmol/L (If the unit of measurement is ng/ml then it's fine.) If it's nmol/L then the recommended level is 100-150nmol/L according to the Vit D Council. If you clarify the unit of measurement, suggestions can be made for dose of supplement.

Ferritin is above 70 which is good, as that is needed for thyroid hormone to work, but you may want to try and get it higher as it's recommended to be half way through range.. Eating liver once a week, maximum 200g, can help, also include lots of iron rich foods in your diet apjcn.nhri.org.tw/server/in...
for someresults ranges are indicated as being above or beko a specific value. Your vit D is 53 which is in the normal range which is indicated as anything over 51 though it is towards the bottom. Similarly for folate your level is in range as it is greater than 3.4.
